I dined here early evening on a Sunday, with a friend. We started with veggie sambusa, which were excellent. We ordered two. The veggie sambusa were so good I wanted to order another but stopped myself from being a piggy so I had room for the next course. Next up, the fish dulet (minced tilapia with Ethiopian butter, mitmita, and herbs) was spicy (not hot) & herby, delicious and plentiful. Oh the herbs! Zenebech does not spare the herbs, which created layers upon layers of wonderful flavor; I really enjoyed the fish dulet. Along with the fish dulet, served on a huge plate of injera was our selection of veggies: red lentils - excellent shiro - very good collards - not a fan, I've had better tasting collards at other Ethiopian restaurants yellow split peas - excellent We were greeted upon arrival, and throughout our meal the waiter was very attentive. Zenebech's decor is of humble surroundings but certainly functional. A small establishment with about 8-10 tables indoors and some outside tables as well. The restaurant fills up fast and by the time we left the it was at capacity with a line of about 12 people waiting to be seated to eat. Seating is first come, first serve. I definitely recommend a visit to Zenebech restaurant. I've been dying to go back myself. Chow! food chick
