Stopped in here recently for dinner with my husband as we were staying down the street. Given the earlier reviews its hard to believe it was the same place. Beautiful charming space, very slow but friendly service (only 3 tables taken) but some of the worst food we've ever encountered. We both ordered vegetable soups to start. Received large bowls of green tinted absolutely flavorless broth. Sent both back uneaten. For entree I ordered the aligot with boudin (sausage)… got heavy gummy bland potatoes served with a sausage that was burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. Maybe it had been frozen? Showed the waitress who took it back, and after a minute heard the ping of the microwave and out again it came still cold and uncooked in the center. Husband ordered steak with roasted potatoes. Potatoes were dried out and burnt black lumps. Steak was fatty, grizzled and actually uncuttable with the knife supplied after sawing away at it. We gave up and asked for the check, and left hungry (after having sat there for 1-1/2 hours to get served our two courses) On the positive side the embarrassed waitress refused to take our payment for dinner. Maybe it was the regular chef's night off? Really a shame since its a beautiful little space.
