Shabu shi is located in the Gateway Mall, which is right at the Ekkami station of the BTS Skytrain. You can access the mall directly from the station platform. Shabu shi is on the ground floor. You can sit at tables or at the the counter. For 359 baht you can eat for one and half hours. You have your own pot of boiling water, and you pick what you want from the conveyor belt, which passes by infront of you. There is meat, fish, shrimp, vegetables, noodles, etc. You cook the food yourself. There is also a counter with sushi like food, rice rolls, fruits, tempura, and a counter for ice cream and drinks. It is pretty much a self serve environment. Servers can fill your pots with water as you use it, and of course they replenishing the plates passing by. It is a popular dining option in Thailand so you may find it busy during lunch and dinner. Taking a number is common. Not for all tastes, but you may want to experience it.
