I know people like coming this way for the shrimp trucks, but really, consider coming up here for Seven Brothers. I don't eat meat (much), so always just stick with the Country "burger", which is a glorious mess of burger toppings and pineapple on a tasty bun with melted cheese. Eat with this some of their "fries", which are more like sliced potatoes, and you don't need to eat the rest of the day. Sub the regular fries for the "crazy fries" and you'll want to go home and take a nap with a pleasant smile on your face. They are so good! If I lived here, I'd be here all the time and try to work my way through the menu. It can take a long time to order if there's a line and does take a little time to get the food, but remember you're in La'ie and just relish that unique experience and how nice all the counter staff are. You can also see the kitchen staff hard at work in the open kitchen and it's pretty cool that most of them are so young and yet working working working away and making such great food that makes people happy. Note: they do close for a little bit later in the day, so don't be surprised if you get there and wonder why the place is empty. PS - Boyfriend dropped his wallet here and we had to turn around and drive back up to get it. Even though we had just stuffed ourselves, we seriously debated getting more food to take home for later (happened to be during their late-afternoon closure. Otherwise, we would have!). Wallet was of course fully intact and staff had been trying to call us to let us know they had it and not to worry. Again, just a pleasant casual place to go and really good food to boot, so stop by and give them your support because I won't be able to get back there for awhile!
