We stumbled across this place on our drive back over the bridge to Phuket from the mainland... it is off the main road so get your map/GPS out... Sarasin Seafood is a very popular restaurant among locals, 15 people at the outdoor tables on our arrival and another 15 or so people arriving in the hour we were there. The food was amazing (we had a curry shrimp, fried calamari and tamarind shrimp. .. all were great. The service was superb (the staff's English was good). We liked the ambience as an authentic local Thai place. It is not Pathong or any of the "ferrang" infested haunts... if you need to be among westerners to feel comfy bring your own. If your looking for a white linen service this isn't it. If your looking for a large, Thai family restaurant with great staff and great food... this is it!
