We used to visit this restaurant regularly as it's convenient, reasonably priced, and is of decent quality. And in addition to sushi, they have a variety of interesting side dishes such as french fries and soy ice cream. On our last visit we ordered some onion rings and asked for some ketchup. When we were denied by a server, we asked to speak to the manager, who also refused. When we asked what the problem was, he spouted lines from his company manual and repeated these lines with every response. He had no clue how to deal with people and communicate. The problem could have easily been resolved with a reasonable explanation but he continued with his textbook nonsense. Shocked that he refused to assist, we asked for a refund and once again he responded with another rule from the policy manual. This place serves hundreds of customers every week, it amazes me they can't get a decent experienced manager to deal with simple issues like this. This was our last visit and we never plan on going back.
