I'm referring to the restaurant and not the plates of delicious food. Where to sit? Outside under the heaters - where you can hear each other speak or inside where its noisier but warmer. Inside it was - but somehow - conspiratorially the cold fingers of winter managed to find themselves on my neck. Welcome friendly, table in a quiet section; menu enticing; excellent smallish wine list. Service very knowledgable and friendly - omelette with crab was sensational - soft, fluffy and big enough to share with 3 others (all dishes were good size to share for 4); prawn and chive dim sum excellent texture and flavours - and very hot; Salt and Pepper squid - interactive (fingers everywhere); the prawn special with XO sauce on noodle pancake was wonderful - tasty, spicy, crisp, saucy; crispy beef strips - was probably my least favourite dish of the night; Singapore Noodles with shitake, prawns and pork slices - only good without being sensational; an excellent Tempranillo from Rioja - a very enjoyable dinner with good friends. Leaving, we noticed that the outside heaters really packed a punch of warmth - so sitting outside would not be an issue during winter months. Well done to all.
