I feel, can also make or break a dining experi...
My parents and I were visiting Piazza Gae Aulenti, and we happened upon RED. We decided to have something to eat,and were presented with their Brunch menu. We weren't actually looking for a "dining experience", just a snack in a pleasant surrounding. N:B: this review,is to commend the SERVICE (Which, I feel, can also make or break a dining experience) more than an actual comment on the food... The Menu was fun and interesting (N:B this is MILAN not N.Y.C or Sydney for that matter!) and the "idea" behind it good, even though the food may not have been quite up to standard...or at least what we would have hoped for.. HOWEVER, the service more than made up for that. At least we were fortunate enough to have been served by a young waiter, by the name of, GIUSEPPE. His service was, friendly, informative, elegant and done with style as only a true professional, and someone who cares about their profession, can deliver. He made us feel relaxed and that nothing was too much trouble. "Please, take your time, it's Sunday!" Living in Milan..."taking one's time" IS NOT often an option! SO, even though the food (at least what we had: Fish and Chips)...was "okay"...our overall experience was positive, thanks to this young waiter.
