We were there for birthday dinner, total 8 of us. We had a budget of sgd3k for the dinner, expected a very good dinner but turn out to be a disappointing one, as it was too overpriced! 2 starters, jelly fish and jelly meat, follow by 6 main, 佛跳墙，peking duck, a steam fish （东星班），lobster (one or two only for all 8 guests) noodle, australia spinach and beef(水煮牛肉）follow by a fruit platter. We later realised that the dinner was meant for 5 pax instead of 8. Why unprofessional? The 佛跳墙 has fish maw, abalone and other fine ingredients in it, as it was meant for 5, there are only 5 abalone, and some of the guests do not have one, is so embarrassing for the host. The restaurant knew about this but did not have any initiative to check if all to have one and charge extra for another 3 abalone or slice the existing 5 to be shared among all, BIG mistake, unprofessional! And worst, the dish is not hot at all! Personally think that it is too overpriced with the given dishes and service was below average as they were short of staff and our side plates were not changed for the whole dinner until fruit platter. Will not visit anymore and will never recommend to anyone!
