We found Ping's while wandering through the ID after a Sounder's game last fall, and were not disappointed. We luckily grabbed a table before a line formed, and quickly ordered a couple of plates of dumplings (pork) along with some steamed buns (beef) and a plate of pot sticker (pork again). We enjoyed everything, and the food reminded us of the great dumplings we had in Vancouver, BC a couple of months prior. While maybe a notch below Din Tai Fung, in both quality and restaurant amenities, we got in an out in about 30 minutes, which is often less time than the wait alone at DTF. The restaurant is small, maybe eight tables, some two-tops, and adjoins an Asian grocery. Decor is sparse and the place has a dirty spoon feel, but the food is good.
