I only go to this RSL whenever I see my Pa. Sadly he has recently passed away. Our family chose to hold our reception here as it is the only place he ever really dined in and he also fought in World War ll which helped him connect with the other war veterinarians. We had booked the reception for a certain time after the eulogy and as soon as family and friends head to this place there was only 4 platters of food to feed 30-40 people. We were not impressed as some of our guests were thirsty and hungry. After speaking to staff and management, our platters of food finally came out 20 minutes later. The food there is cheap, the quality of the food is no fine dining, but it still tastes just as nice. They give discounts to pensioners/ seniors but you must show your card! Tip- The place looks amazing around ANZAC day and I strongly suggest you go there if you would like to know some history. Note- I say it is a cheap eat. But if you are a pensioner it is within mid-range depending on the meal you pick.
