Now known as 食神 Ssikssin Korean BBQ with a new branch in Bedok Point, I usually come here with friends and family every 2-3 months to get my fix of yummy korean barbecue! Free flow and buffet-style, the meat (especially the marinated chicken) is to die for, and there is also a wide selection of cut meats (pork collar, bacon, pork slices, beef ++) and cooked food such as korean-style tang hoon, salad, korean rice cakes, fried lotus roots and so on. Seaweed and kimchi soups are also offered. Some examples of "sides" include Korean Chili sauces, pickled radish, kimchi, cut green chilli, some Korean Achar-like salad and garlic. I can't remember the rest as I don't eat them. Drinks are free-flow and included in the price. They also offer chilled red vinegar and fruit punch drinks as well. The red vinegar drink is slightly sweet yet tart, and the fruit punch refreshes your palate for another round of food! Only gripe is that t-shirts tend to come out a little smoky-smelling after that, but the food is worth smelling like a bbq joint :p Lunch is cheaper than dinner, we spent about $37 for two pax. However, there is a larger variety for dinner, so the price is still pretty reasonable.
