Run by ladies who seem to know all their clients. We loved it the first night and came back another evening to this local spot which welcomes tourists with open arms and smiles but very limited English. Luckily I speak some Spanish. I thanked the cook the first night. You can see her cook from just about any table. The place won't win awards for its decor but we loved the unpretentious decor. On our second visit the wait staff was different but the cook smiled at us. At the end of the meal we were offered a glass of liqueur compliments of the chef. The food is creatively cooked and designed to stimulate the palate and the eyes. There is a long list of dishes to share and they are not your typical tapas! We loved our choices on both occasions. Sweet meets spicy and savory. Mains are also very creatively thought through. Six cold choices and about the same hot entrees. Also a good choice of salads as a main course. We have only one thing to ask the chef: go easy on the dressings for salads. There was a bit too much and the lettuce gets soggy after a few minutes. With a bottle of house wine and two sharing plates plus a main each it came to less than 40 euros. A steal for such high quality food. Try the duck confit or the ribs. Muy bien ladies.
