There is nothing more cheering than watching staff and friends have a damn good time while still be excellent waiters. When we arrived, we sat at the bar and browsed the menu. Waiters were attentive but also focussed on their preparatory Fernet Branca shots before the long, wet afternoon. The guys greeted nearly everyone who came in by name. Someone else arrives, they look like a customer but instead end up behind the bar with their adorable curly blonde-haired toddler who was determined to get amongst it. We had one of those plates with the lot: bread, cheese, meats, pickles, grapes, olives but our lovely waiter mixed up our meat order. When we asked for our original bresaola, no problem, more meat on our plate. Cheerful, cosy, filled with locals.
