I'd heard good things about this Indian, and knowing my usual Indian would be busy on a Saturday night my partner and I thought we would give this a try. we called and placed our order at 18:50, and were told that it would be about 55 minutes. no problem as this is standard on a Saturday really. I ordered the chicken tikka massalam, my boyfriend the chicken jalfrezi but without onions. also the usual of naan bread, basmati rice and some chips. the order came within the 55 minutes but straight away my boyfriend noted that there were onions in his curry, and that the chips were soggy. so I called back at 19:45 to ask for this to be rectified, and the man on the phone stated this would be replaced straight away. we waited ANOTHER 30 minutes (having then noticed that the naan was not fresh, and the chicken in my curry was chewy) before I called back to ask where the replacement was. the rice and everything else by this point were freezing. there was never once an apology for the wait or for the quality of the food. the man asked if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation, to which I asked if we could have a refund for the jalfrezi and chips at least. now because I had paid by card, I was told this was not possible. something about a security card and not being able to refund card payments. so having had a wasted £21, no rectification and a freezing cold meal we can safely say we will not order from here ever again!
