I was wondering if i was taking a risk going there seeing all the inconsistent reviews. I am never interested in seafood platter unless am in France. I went there to eat oysters and I wasn't disappointed, excellent selection, I was very happy to find the "wild" oysters and some very plum fine de clair. We had few other dishes which were nice. So overall experience was very nice, the service was ok in general, the restaurant is nice and cosy. Only two remarks about the place, the spoon for the shallot vinegar does fit the small dish, so its pointless to have it and the music could be somehow nicer. I want to comment on all the reviews that claim it is an expensive place. I do not agree, when it come to oysters, the quality, the source and the freshness is the key. I would rather pay a little bit more to get top product. So I believe the raw bar is all about quality, and you pay for it. I am not saying it is cheap to eat there, am saying that if you want to really enjoy oysters then you d rather indulge less often, but when you do, do it at the right place.
