Wibar at LGA's Terminal D looked like the quietest
We had about 1.5 hours between planes. The Wibar at LGA's Terminal D looked like the quietest place to sit and with the comfiest cushioned chairs. We figured out how to order on the IPads on the table. Food and service were both good. Airport prices of course, but they were not much higher than the Cibo takeout across the hall. And the glass of water was free, rather than $3 for a bottle. I would come here again in similar circumstances. I want to comment on the table design. The chairs are comfy but I couldn't see my spouse across from me over the two IPads in the center of the table. If we think everyone looking at their phones all of the time, even in restaurants is contributing to social disconnect and loss of social skills, then Wibar is the extension of that. The diners can Google through dinner but they can't easily talk to one another. If this is the way of our 2015 world, what's 2020 going to be like?
