I'd love to give this place a five, but too many things went wrong on our visit for me to give them that. Nevertheless, if this charming bistro cafe can just be a little bit more professionally organised, it will be perfect. There is much to recommend here. It was one of the only truly modern places we found in Rome. The waitresses were nice and competent, the tea and coffee excellent, the cakes delicious and the setting beautiful. The food was okay; certainly not bad but a perhaps a little bland for vegetarian tastes. Vegetarian and Vegan dishes were clearly marked on the menu, and the staff were attentive and understanding about food allergies, etc. The management aims to please, and the bill was correct with no hidden extras (which is very rare in Rome). I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
