Ordered ten unagi (eel), ten sake (slamon) sushi, five hamachi (yellowtail) and five hokkigai (surf clams). Hamachi and hokkigai I ordered not because they are my favorites but because I wanted raw fish and the raw fish items are very limited on the zen menu.. As it turned out, the hamachi and sake (salmon) was superb and the hokkigai very good. I would rate the eel only as good inasmuch as it appeared to be slightly overcooked. In addition ordered shrimp tempura (excellent) and a tonkatsu set. The pork was excellent but the tonkatsu sauce appeared to be unusually sweet rather than the tart thick brown sauce, which ordinarily goes with the dish. Still enjoyable but just prefer the original blend. Washed down with a bottle of Singha beer. Would have preferred Asahi, which, while on the menu, was not available. Without the service charge of ten per cent, the fare for the sushi (30 pieces) alone was 2600 baht. Total came to just over 3500. Only aspect I was not enamored of was the sign (posted outside on the restaurant window) purporting to give a 30% discount (in small print selected items). The selected items exclude food and most drinks so I considered that promotion to be misleading. Located in the Central Festival Mall on the first floor (above the parking).
