I ate here a few times for dinner on a recent stay at the W, eating both solo at the bar and in the main dining room. Bar tender was friendly and helped me out with the beer selection (being a non-local, wasn't familiar with the local choices) and table service was pleasant when dining in groups, and usually able to work within tight turnarounds. The Trace Burger and Chicken and Waffles were great dishes. The deviled eggs were lacking in seasoning of any kind (cry), the lamb appetizer came out well done (tragic) and the cauliflower soup was pretty good, but what they called croutons was just vaguely toasted white bread that was unseasoned. The desserts were spot on- both the apple cranberry cobbler and the cheesecake. I was informed the scallops and then salmon appetizers were also delicious. As long as you choose wisely, you'll probably have a good time here!
