A business colleague and I decided to try Masala Art for a Monday night dinner. We were a bit wary because of some reviews posted here. We had a delightful time with an excellent waitress named Kaja (also the evening manager). There are two dining rooms here, plus a bar area. We sat in one of the dining rooms after Kaja kindly checked to see if there were entrees without curry (one of us does not do well with curry). She confirmed that the Tandoori Chicken does not have curry. Both dining rooms are very attractive. We started - as an experiment with - Indian style onion rings. Nice. Then we had the tandoori chicken, with rice and some vegetables. We also had some wheat naan. The two tandoori chicken, plus the appetizer and nann, were $22.55 each. We consider this a considerable bargain in high priced Washington DC. Good was excellent, service was very attentive and we felt we received great value for the price. Strongly recommend.
