My wife and two kids were just walking along the streets of Florence looking for a place to grab a bite. We came across Grana Market and decided to give it a shot. To put it mildly, it was an amazing find! So good in fact that we were in Florence for a total of 4 days and had two of our lunches at Grana Market. The breads were all terrific. Incredible selection of cheeses. And the meats were delicious. Definitely not a tourist trap type of place. Very little English spoken here. However, just enough that they knew what we wanted. It seems to be a family run shop, with the son able to speak the most English. However, that didn't matter because on our second trip there he was not at work yet. So we ordered with the non-English speaking "parents" of him (I think), and they had no problem with our orders. Again, I can not recommend Grana Market enough. It's a must go to place when in Florence!
