Love the food!! We've been to Phuket every year for eight years staying at the Marriott. First time we ate here was about 4 years ago, food was delicious but the old location of the restaurant was a bit too far in. Fell in love with food again this time round as the location has conveniently moved to be along the main Thepkatsattri road. We ate here 3 times during our week stay. We had one of the best prawns in tamarind sauce dishes, delicious roasted fish in salt done just right with the spicy, sour and garlicky sauce well balanced, the really yummy salads. We opted for the non common salad dishes - Tam Sa Rai (seaweed salad) recommended by the very helpful waiter and Yum Pak Good ( Spicy pak good salad). Both were excellent..they had thinly sliced lemon grass, dessicated roasted coconut in thin coconut milk - sour, sweet and spicy - like all good Thai food are.The fried noodle - Pad Thiew (very broad flat rice noodle, something like hor fun) was delicious - there is that smoky taste, not spicy and again a well balanced sweet and sour taste. Normally we avoid ordering Tom yum for its ubiquitous presence but decided to try it here. And it did not disappoint. The Manao soda ( freshly squeezed lime in soda water) was one of the best we had too!. For those staying in North Phuket, this restaurant will be an excellent choice. On top of that prices are very reasonable. Note - no alcohol here.
