It is not easy to find places open for breakfast in Macau. Jason Cafe is a open for a quick and affordable morning bite on Rua Central (street), between St. Augustine Square and St. Lawrence Church. At Jason Cafe, they offer Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon-tea and dinner Set Menu. Seating is limited with only a few tables inside a small but nice cafe dining area. The place can be full up during lunch and dinner but we have seen available seats during breakfast and afternoon-tea. Made a recent stop here for a quick breakfast, trying the Pork Bun & Coffee (MOP$30) set breakfast. The pork bun included lettuce, tomato and some type of sauce. It was not the classic Macanese pork-bun (chopa boa) but it tasted decent. The coffee was strong and tasted good. Iced lemon tea tried here was fine as well. Overall, considering the low price of meals and convenient location near World Heritage Sites southwest of Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro, Jason Cafe is a good little option first thing in the morning, if you fancy something quick, light and cheap to eat during sightseeing in Macau.
