I had read reviews that said this was lame but I wanted to do it anyways. I expected "train ride & cookout". What we got was a ride in something that compares to the "train" at my local zoo except we went down the road about a mile from the lodge. The "cookout" wasn't around a campfire but in a tent behind the gas station. It was "all you can eat". The beef brisket was pretty good but the chicken was dry & flavorless and I found pieces of bones. I wasn't impressed with the vegetarian chili (basically vegetable soup). I thought it would taste like the chili we got at Phantom Ranch. I thought the macaroni & cheese was over cooked with mushy noodles. The entertainment was fine - decent singing. All in all I could have probably gotten a better meal at the saloon or deli
