In search of some plants, I came upon Chladek. Once I was finished shopping and put all my stuff in the car, I went back to grab a bite to eat. The place was busy! The area where you order food is very small and congested, but I guess it makes sense in order to provide as much seating for customers. The daily specials were written behind the counter on a chalk board, you take a tray and as you would in a cafeteria, slide along, pick up what you want and order your food which is passed to you. I happened to order a salad that needed to be prepared and was given a number and told to be seated. The server found me a few minutes later. I have to say, the food was good but the best part was the view outside on the terrace. In case of bad weather they do have seating inside and on the floor above, but nothing beats sitting outside enjoying lunch while you look over plants and see rooftops of Prague 6!
