We called in to the Press Café for coffee. We had previously sussed out where it was on our previous walking tour of Otaru. It was housed in an old stone building, and the entry to the cafe through the inside of the building led past a huge stockpile of firewood! Also an eye-opener was an Austin Healey Sprite, (not the bug-eye type) in British racing green, squeezed inside the cafe as part of the décor. The owner is obviously a car buff and parked outside the cafe was a Fiat Bambino and (I think) a Riley car, more of his treasures. The coffee was good too!
