I used to be a regular here as you could always count on decent coffee minced lamb wraps and a toastie but never really ate anything else and became a bit bored with the same old selections. Well yesterday went in for a late lunch and found that the hairdressers at back of business has gone and it is a café and music store only now. The layout of the café has seating arrangements to suit everyones tastes to the high bar chairs out front, normal chairs out back, couch benches, communal tables etc. The addition of a chef's area which reminded me of the oyster bar in David Jones is new and large. The food is still some of the same old varieties I did notice an inclusion of breakfast all day items on the blackboard but I opted for the lamb flat bread the lamb in this was beautiful I will say the flatbread let it down as I found it more like a shortcrust pastry a little fatty even. Coffee as good as always service staff have also changed being served by an all male crew was very friendly and efficient. The table numbers they give you are stories of musicians which I found interesting and a talking point. On the other side check out the music whilst there you will find some great bargains and music stores in Launceston like it are few and far between these days.
