Invited by resident in BKK to enjoy Peking Duck Dinner. I have never had it done this perfect before. Duck is one of my favorite dishes and this was a real treat. My host had evidently called ahead and there was little waiting...they showed off the whole roasted duck through the window and carved the delicious skin from it..with my yelling "more fat" please..and they did..they then cooked the remainder of the duck into two or three methods..all were excellent. The service was great...just couldn't eat it all. My host works in Thong Lor and actually is part owner of two restaurants there so I knew ahead of time this would be good. The restaurant is upstairs as other reviewers state but I must add that the building has an elevator. I was in a wheelchair and had no problems with the bathroom or access to the restaurant..lots of help from staff if needed. There was a family in the private dining room and some caucasian expats at the front table..we had a nice private table towards the rear and great view of the window where you could witness the carving of the duck. Next time I would like to try the Fish as that recipe is one of my favorites. This is a "local" and authentic restaurant and far better than some of the failed so called four or five star "fancy" restaurants...I would 10 times rather pay for good food than atmosphere...Taxi literaly took me right to the elevator entrance...I certainly hope to go back one day. The prices are reasonable but my host picked up the tab. the other reviewers are spot on..
