We had an hour and twenty minutes to kill between the arrival of our ferry from Teshima and our train to Okayama and this was a perfect place to spend it. As I said to my travelling companions, going to the exquisite Teshima museum and then rushing for the train is like having a perfect haircut and going out in the rain - it ruins everything. Magtina is the ideal transition space, very relaxed with lots of plants, an outdoor seating area covered in ivy, and wonderful food that is excellent value. Go for the potato salad sandwich, it's a revelation. The sweet owner even ran all the way to the station when I left a bag at the cafe, so nice of her.
