This was by far the worst drinks experience ever. The bar itself was nice and Paris's version of the Speakeasy , but the cocktails were an abomination. We were lukewarm about trying some of the bizarre Junior Masterchef offerings, but our amiable waitress insisted this was the "second best cocktail bar in all of Paris". Firstly: the "smoking car": in reality, like licking a damp fag off a lemon wipe. Undrinkable and toxic. Secondly, "gen and tonique" described by said aimiable waitress as a homage to the gin and tonic, was in fact, tasted like Cillit Bang. The last offering, a "C4" was the best of the bunch, being a mere watery carrot juice with no apparant alcohol content. Lovely celery garnish however. We roared with laughter at both the cost (12-15 euros per drink) and the sheer stunning awfulness of said drinks. Le Syndicat, je vous donnes nul points.
