Our party of 24 recently visited Casa Deluz to have an early Chinese New Year dinner. We pre-ordered two of their set menus - $398 for a 10 course dinner which included 1) Chinese BBQ Platter, 2) Deep Fried Shrimp/Crab Balls, 3) Chicken & Shark Fin Soup, 4) Shrimp & Squid Mixed Vegetables, 5) Snow Pea Leaves & Mushrooms, 6) Fish Fillets & Vegetables, 7) Steamed Chicken, 8) Stir Fried Lobster, 9) Fried Rice, 10) E-Fu Noodles. Although the dinner was ordered in advance the meal still took 3 hours to finish! Also, there were a couple of items which came out differently than described on their menu. When we asked about it, the manager informed us that it was a translation error - we were reading the English menu but apparently the Chinese menu was correct. The errors resulted in us getting "cheaper" quality food than we were expecting. The actual taste of the food was average. Given the slow service, mediocre food, and feeling a bit 'cheated' because we couldn't read Chinese, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant nor will I be returning anytime soon.
