I miss sandwich shops and real delis. You know, the places you could get good, heavy breads that gave you the idea that they were made from grains. And thick cuts of meat. And options. Seattle is a bit of a desert when it comes to that sort of place, and instead has seen the spread of restaurants like Panera. Alas, Panera is to the sandwich what Starbucks is to coffee - not bad, just terribly mediocre.
