We chose a meaty kosher restaurant for this month. We all had different things; there were 12 of us. I had the entrecote steak, which was very nice. I ordered it medium but the outsides were too well done for my taste, so really I only enjoyed the middle bits. I shared a side of chips with one of my friends, and we all had salad included. While we waited for the meal to start, we were offered bread with parve butter, and a couple of dips, which were nice. I did not have a starter or afters as a, trying to lose weight and b, I was full anyway. This is restaurant is known for its Argentinian style. The atmosphere was very noisy and the service very slow and not up to scratch. Staff need a training day.
As there is a distinct lack of competition of similar restaurants in the area, if you want a decent steak then this is the place to go to albeit extremely expensive. I believe that with time as more restaurants of a similar ilk will open this will force La Fiesta to review their prices. The starter of 'Chorizio' is not authentic but merely a sausage and the empanadas are barely filled and tasteless. Both the Chorizio and empanadas should be avoided. Stick to a 350g steak with a jacket potato. A meal for two without wine will set you back around £120. For what it is this is pricey indeed!
