If you like that old English manor feel, the Smokehouse is for you. Quaint and rustic, every room in this small hotel is unique - poster beds, mock fireplace, heavy wooden doors, updated with Wi-Fi and LCD TVs. No aircon but the temperature is in the nice 20s (C). Chock full with English decorations and memorabilia, it is like a museum for the mid-1900s. I had a lot of fun exploring the rooms and the garden. The kids can be entertained by the cable TV. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is good. Prices are a little on the high side but worth it. I stayed at the Ambleside, and the photos are shown. Very minor issues - bath tub/shower does not have curtains, so splashes all over. Wife thought it smelt musty and lights were dim. Overall, recommended for a quiet family getaway, even more so for a couple without children.

We make online booking their.when we arrived they told us we have to pay extra 200 myr for our son which is not areasonable amount..so we decide to change the hotel and we arrived their at 1.30pm..they refuse to cancel our reservation and to give us back any percentage of our reservation amount through the online resrvation company..their attitude was not nice at all.
