You have to visit this place if you are in Miyazaki city. A small izakaya-style place which specializes in chicken will make for an unforgettable dinner. All the meat comes from a special breed of chicken (which if I understood correctly are all descendants of a particular pair of chicken whose pictures are on the wall, though my Japanese is not great so I might have misunderstood that part :) ).Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the meat was moist with a beautiful flavor, the right amount of spices and a wonderful aroma from the grill. The sides were delightful with imaginative combinations of chicken, vegetables and spices. There are about 4-5 kitchen staff, but everything gets a special attention from the master, a wonderful man in his 60's who has opened this restaurant 38 years ago and seems to have mastered the art of making chicken! When it was time to pay having enjoyed a wonderful meal with sake and beer, I found the bill so low given the quality of the meal that I thought they made a mistake, I actually asked them to check again, but no the prices are so reasonable that it makes this an amazing value for money.
