This is the second time my wife and I dined here in a year. Escaping from the hubbub of outlet shopping nearby, we treated ourselves to this haven of Latin Cuisine. Delightful menu featuring the best of traditional South American fares, complemented by an array of local wines (OBTW: the Pleasanton-Livermore wine region is worth a visit) – Coco’s provides a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy. It has become our pit stop for tapas style dining and to catch our breath after a road trip. Do try the Ropa Vieja Tacos or braised shredded beef on corn tortillas. We also had Lamb Lollipops, Papas Bravas, Mazatlan Corn, Baked Goat Cheese (w garlic roasted tomatoes, basil pesto, & crostini), Platanos, Sauteed Mussels, and Empanadas – paired with fine sangria. We were very very hungry. Easily accessible. Plenty of parking. Prompt, attentive service. Great atmosphere. Come check it out.
