Love this place! Me and the misses come here almost every date night. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is great. The old jazz vibes and the accomidating staff always make us feel welcome, will be returning soon for another delicious meal!!
Poor start as dipping bread was stale, menu stated homemade ciabbata, our server was very apologetic and said that they had run out of the ciabbata, but why not just say that, rather than serve something that is not good enough.Main courses was better, delivered what was stated on the menu, although one main lacked garlic, which again was stated on the menu. Staff are really hands on and lovely, good atmosphere and drinks are reasonably priced. Would we go back......possibly, everyone has an off day and there is something about this place that says....go on it will be better next time!
There's a couple of reviews on here which treat thin pizza as a negative. This is authentic Italian pizza so if you want a thick base with a crust stuffed with cheese, you should probably stick with Dominos. If, however, you want a proper pizza, this is the place for you. It's a small trattoria style restaurant, serving good honest food. We've visited here a number of times since it opened, and it's always been really good, with fresh ingredients, prepared by someone who knows what he's doing. It's our favourite trattoria outside of Italy! Definitely worth a visit.
The food was poor and the pizza's are thinner than paper!!! However, the dark haired teenage waitress had a clear voice, nice smile and was all round sweet and kind! Luckily Little Italy have good staff otherwise it would be such a poor restaurant. You pay way too much for how thin the pizza's are, they are not even that filling! The taste however is a 7.5/10 (Pulled pork pizza). Dough balls 9/10 though!! Pro's: Taste Vibes with-in the restaurant Layout Design Waitress's Opening and closing times Con's: Prices Pizza quality Funny kind of herby smell Burning of pizza crusts Lack of filling, was still peckish afterwards What I would do to improve - Make the pizza dough thicker, don't cheap out on the ingredients. Lower price's (supermarket pizza's can be more filling just for a couple of pounds!) Overall rating: 6-7.5/10 Would recommend to a friend. Sue.
