A no-frills restaurant with a fantastic view of the black sea and the ships coming into the bosphorus from thence. Beautifully located, it's perched on a cliff, just at the lighthouse. There's comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, though outdoor might get a bit chilly in the winter months. The cold mezzes were nice; i recommend the acılı ezme. And the hot mezzes were superb; i highly recommend the grilled calamari.....super tasty!!! As for the main course, i ordered the grilled levrek, which turned out to be the tastiest fish I've had in years. They have an english menu though the waiters don't speak any. But the experience and the food is totally worth it. And yes, prices are waayy less than what you'd pay along the bosphorus in Tarabya. I would definitely go back there again!

Easy to locate as it is right next to the Light Tower. Amazing view. Young and attentive lady waitresses. Delicious food. Worn tables, chairs. Busy at peak hours. Moderate prices. No alcohol served. Vale parking for fee. Free parking within walking distance.

The village is one of my favorite place and when you are in this village, Mendirek is the just only one restaurant with ay wonderfull view. If its busy, service could be slow, otherwise its always good one. Staff are friendly and they have good food.

View is very nice especially you can eat fish with sun set. There is a fishermen harbour very close to the restaurant. You can able to count every ship entrance of the Bosporus. I can say same thing for the foods. Soups are terrible, fish soup over average. Salad is OK very fresh and seasonal vegetables made a good combinations. Cold meal are OK. Calamari and mussels OK Fish is grilling very good. İn the season you can find every fish at the restaurant. Service very friendly and help full. One tip: You have to ask fish price before eat. Have a good fun there!!!
