From the staff to the menu to the presentation to the taste, this is a restaurant for people who enjoy a little extra when dining out. Wish we had discovered it sooner. Very, very good. Located on the harbor.

Situated in the docks this is a nice location. We were on the top floor and had a good view of the harbour and the boat traffic in the early evening, which added to the feel of the restaurant. There were four of us and we started by sharing the starter of nuts, olives and mussels with spiced tomato sauce, fennel and basil. The olives were very nice, but the mussels a little disappointing with several empty shells. For main course my wife had fish balls, pan fried with potato puree, white cabbage in onion butter, whole cooked leek and roasted carrot. This was a good choice and we had some food envy. Our friends had mussels steamed in beer, three sauces, herb, mustard and garlic with french fries and traditional creamed fish stew, the new style, buttered potatoes, rye bread, lemon. The mussels were apparently good, especially the 3 sources. The creamed fish stew, which looked like porridge, was disappointing. I had cod, herb coated fillet with chunky sweet potato, horse radish salad and frothed champagne shrimp sauce. The herb coating was sweet, more like granola, and the sweet potato was mashed not chunky. Overall a mixed bag in a good location.

We had the 4 course set menu, consisting of the cured reindeer fillet which was carpaccio style with grilled asparagus and egg sauce, the shellfish soup with langoustine, mussels, scallops, fennel and whipped cream with pouring at the table presentation, pulled lamb shoulder and chops on oat and polenta with roasted carrots and crispy turnip garnish, and for the dessert a warm chocolate cake with raspberry garnish and licorice ice cream. The portion for the lamb was generous and the dessert was well presented. The shellfish soup perhaps could have deeper flavors but was pleasing enough. The ambience of the restaurant is cozy with a good view of the harbor. Bread and smear were fresh.
