Have been visiting Dastarkhwan from past 11 years whenever I am in Lucknow. Would recommend Dastarkhwan Gomti Nagar as it has better sitting arrangements than the one at Hazratganj. Biryani is good and so is Chicken Kali Mirch. Chicken Masala is full of oil (eat at your own risk). Love the crisp Mughlai Parantha's they serve.

For mutton dishes, chicken dishes, Biryani and kebabs- this is by far the best Lucknow has to offer, and that's saying a lot because Lucknow is very much at the top when it comes to Avadhi and Mughlai food. While they have an outlet now in Gomti nagar as well, the original one in islamia is where the real deal is. MUST try when in Lucknow, and you won't stop at a single visit. A hearty meal would set you back by about INR 600 (USD 10).
