We had a few lovely evenings in the lagoon bar after the teens were settled into their room after dinner! Lovely wines on offer and great service! We did struggle with the 'smokers' a bit…but thats the norm in Japan!!

Although OK, this portion of the hotel was the low point of our stay. I was with a group of Scots/Americans that were actually less unruly than the locals (for once) and it was difficult to get service despite the comparably high prices. And for those that don't think about it - smoking is permitted in Japanese restaurants - avoid this one if that's a problem. We left straight for the room and a shower....
